The Impact of STEM Based Programs on Girls and Women

Background/Objective: Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis focuses on inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold through empowering programming that concentrates underprivileged populations. Eureka!, a STEM based program Inc., serves foster confidence knowledge in its workshops with local collaborators mentors. programs for girls, especially underrepresented are crucial due the enduring gender gap, which refers lower rates interest, pursuit, employment women STEM. This research investigate impact extracurricular experiences their attitudes surrounding STEM.
 Methods: Five related questions were chosen from Outcome Measurement Activity survey conducted at Eureka! literature review was performed using PubMed sources.
 Results: With respect survey, it found less than one year there an increase ratings five selected questions, ranging 22.7% 54.5% confidence. The identified reports studies activities as beneficial building girls’ confidence, often led stronger desire pursue careers.
